| Equity Method Investments and Joint Ventures Disclosure | 4. Investment in Unconsolidated Affiliate In July 2026, the Company announced the FEP Project, an intrastate natural gas transmission infrastructure project designed to expand transportation capacity and enhance system reliability in South Florida. On September 1, 2026, the Company, through its wholly-owned subsidiary PPH, completed the sale of a 49 percent membership interest in FEP, the entity formed to own and develop the FEP Project, to NEER, an indirect subsidiary of NextEra Energy Resources, Inc. Following the transaction, PPH and NEER hold membership interests in FEP of 51 percent and 49 percent, respectively. Under the terms of the related agreements, each member is obligated to fund capital contributions in proportion to its respective membership interest. The Company has issued a parent guaranty to support PPH's capital contribution obligations under the governing agreements. As of September 30, 2026, the Company's remaining unfunded capital commitment related to FEP was approximately $545.7 million. As of September 30, 2026, both PPH and NEER made contributions to FEP in proportion to their respective ownership interests. PPH's initial contribution to FEP amounted to $7.2 million. The Company, through PPH, is participating in the earnings of FEP in proportion to its level of investment and is utilizing the equity method to account for the transactions and the ongoing activities. Although PPH holds a 51 percent membership interest, significant operating and financial decisions, including approval of annual budgets, capital expenditures, financing arrangements, and material contracts require the approval of both members under FEP's governing documents. As a result, the Company does not have a controlling financial interest in FEP, and as a result FEP is not consolidated in the Company's financial statements. The Company’s proportional equity in earnings for the period ended September 30, 2026 was not material. PPH serves as the operator of the FEP Project and provides services to FEP pursuant to the Construction, Operation and Management Agreement, dated as of September 1, 2026. Operator fees and related reimbursements from FEP are eliminated or reflected as related-party transactions in the Company's consolidated financial statements to the extent required under applicable guidance. During the three months ended September 30, 2026, the Company recognized operator fee income of $0.3 million from FEP with such amount reflected as a receivable from FEP as of September 30, 2026.
