| Related Party Transactions | Related Party Transactions We purchase various commodity products from and sell to certain equity investees, primarily CF Nitrogen; Ventura Foods; Ardent Mills; TEMCO, LLC and Producer Ag. Sales to and purchases from related parties for the years ended August 31, 2026, 2025 and 2024, are as follows:
As discussed in Note 6, Investments, on December 31, 2025, we finalized an agreement to exit the Producer Ag joint venture. Sales and purchases activity prior to the exit are included in the preceding table. Subsequently, Producer Ag was no longer considered a related party for purposes of this disclosure. Receivables due from and payables due to related parties as of August 31, 2026 and 2025, are as follows:
The amounts due from related parties associated with grain sales to Producer Ag were $0.0 million and $153.6 million, as of August 31, 2026 and 2025, respectively. As part of the exit agreement, we received consideration in the form of working capital in exchange for our equity interest and amounts previously owed to CHS. Subsequently, Producer Ag was no longer considered a related party for purposes of this disclosure. Other Related Party Considerations As a cooperative, we are owned by farmers and ranchers and member cooperatives, which are referred to as members. We buy commodities from and provide products and services to our members in the ordinary course of business. Transactions and balances with members are not presented in the tables above solely as a result of their membership in CHS. Individually, our members do not have a significant ownership in CHS. Transactions with, and amounts due from or to, members were not material to CHS, individually or in aggregate, during the reporting period.
