| Income Taxes | Income Taxes The effective tax rate for the three and nine months ended September 26, 2026 was 23.2% and 23.1%, respectively, compared to the effective tax rate for the three and nine months ended September 27, 2025 of 26.6% and 26.8%, respectively. The effective tax rate for 2026 was lower than the effective tax rate for the comparable 2025 periods primarily due to a one-time tax benefit associated with the dissolution of one of the Company's affiliates, lapses in the statute of limitations for previously unrecognized tax benefits, and excess tax benefits related to share-based compensation recognized in 2026. In addition, the 2025 effective tax rate was adversely impacted by foreign exchange losses in non-U.S. jurisdictions for which no related tax benefit was recognized. The effective tax rate for the three and nine months ended September 26, 2026 was higher than the statutory tax rate primarily due to losses in non-U.S. jurisdictions with no related tax benefit recognized, partially offset by the one-time tax benefit associated with the dissolution of one of the Company's affiliates, lapses in the statute of limitations for previously unrecognized tax benefits, and excess tax benefits related to share-based compensation. The effective tax rate for the three and nine months ended September 27, 2025 was higher than the statutory tax rate primarily due to foreign exchange losses and losses in non-U.S. jurisdictions with no related tax benefit recognized.
