| Subsequent Events | Subsequent Events Patent License Agreement In October 2026, the Company announced that it had entered into a patent license agreement (the “Patent License Agreement”) with a competitor Wound Care company (the “Licensee”). The Patent License Agreement resolves patent infringement allegations against the Licensee involving MiMedx’s intellectual property, to which the Licensee did not admit fault or liability. The Licensee will pay MiMedx a total of $25.0 million in five equal, annual installments of $5.0 million,. The first installment was paid during the fourth quarter of 2026 and the remaining installments are due on the first four anniversary dates of the Patent License Agreement. The Patent License Agreement provides the Licensee with an indefinite, non-exclusive license to use certain of the Company’s patents.
