América Móvil Consolidated Results

The third quarter saw oil prices rising to a new peak in mid-September, above 100 dollars per barrel of WTI crude. Long-term inflation expectations were duly affected pushing long term rates up, with the yield on ten-year Treasury notes—which had been on the rise most of the year—accelerating its gains from the last week of August. These factors, together with a particularly strong non-farm payrolls report for that month that exceeded expectations, were the main drivers of the Fed’s decision on September 16th to increase its policy rate by 25 basis points. Despite the latter, 10-year yields continued rising through the end of the quarter, picking up nearly 85 basis points in the period, whereas 30-year yields were up 40 basis points. Both ended the quarter at their highest levels in nearly 25 years. The higher interest rates in the U.S. supported a recovery of the dollar vs. some currencies in our region of operations. The Mexican peso gave up in September all the gains it had posted vs. the dollar in the first two months of the quarter to end the period down approximately 2.1%. The Colombian peso traded sideways vs. the dollar and gained 3.1%, while the Brazilian real and the euro remained practically unchanged over the quarter.

América Móvil third quarter revenue totaled 251 billion pesos, a 7.6% year-on-year increase. Service revenue expanded 7.2% driving an 8.9% increase in EBITDA, to 102 billion pesos. EBITDA represented a 40.8% margin, slightly higher than that of the year-earlier period. At constant exchange rates, service revenue was up 5.3% and EBITDA 6.7%.

Service revenue growth resulted from mobile service revenue increasing 6.3%—very much in line with the pace observed the prior three quarters—and fixed-line revenue growth accelerating to 3.7% from 2.7% in the prior quarter. On the mobile platform postpaid service revenue increased 7.5% year-on-year, also very similar to that of the prior three quarters, while prepaid revenue rose 4.3%, slightly less rapidly than the 5.3% pace of the preceding quarter. Postpaid revenue growth accelerated in Mexico, Brazil and Colombia to 8.0%, 8.5% and 12%, respectively. Chile’s and Peru’s growth rates also moved up to 11.5% and 7.5%, respectively. As for prepaid service revenue, growth decelerated in Mexico—partly reflecting the subscriber registration process mandated by the regulator—as well as in Brazil and Austria, but accelerated in Eastern Europe, Central America & the Caribbean and Ecuador.

Operating profit totaled 57.1 billion pesos, up 13.9% from the year-earlier quarter, outpacing EBITDA growth as depreciation and amortization charges rose only 3.1%.

Although net interest expense was down 11.2% year-on-year, our comprehensive financing cost increased 75% as a result of foreign exchange losses of 3.6 billion pesos in the period, which compared to foreign exchange gains of 6.3 billion pesos a year before. These foreign exchange variations result primarly from changes in the peso value of América Móvil’s foreign currency denominated debt.

We posted a net profit of 24.3 billion pesos in the third quarter, 7.0% higher than in the year-earlier quarter. Net income was equivalent to 41 peso cents per share, or 47 dollar cents per ADR.

All comparisons at constant exchange rates for América Móvil’s consolidated figures will exclude Argentina to ensure consistency.

We have modified our reporting methodology for Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) devices, which are now classified under mobile service rather than fixed-line service. 144k postpaid net adds

Telcel added 144 thousand postpaid subscribers in the quarter and disconnected 2.9 million prepaid subscribers as part of a clean up of its base, closing September with 81.8 million subscribers. In the fixed-line segment Telmex connected 37 thousand new broadband accesses and disconnected 91 thousand fixed-voice lines. We ended the quarter with 22.9 million fixed-line RGUs.

Service revenue +5.2% YoY

Revenue reached 90.3 billion pesos, a 5.6% increase year-on-year. Service revenue was up 5.2%, up from 4.4% in the second quarter. The acceleration was driven by the fixed-line platform, which posted 4.6% service revenue growth having recording no growth in the prior quarter. This improvement was supported by a 10.0% increase in corporate networks revenue—that compares with a 7.8% decline in the second quarter—as well as a 9.7% broadband revenue growth. Broadband revenue benefited from the rollover of promotional offers implemented in the year-earlier period.

Mobile service revenue +5.4% YoY

On the mobile platform service revenue increased 5.4% year-on-year, with postpaid revenue rising 8.0%, its strongest performance in several quarters. Prepaid service revenue expanded 3.5% year-on-year; its growth slowing from the pace observed in prior quarters, reflecting a higher comparison base following a particularly strong performance in the year-earlier period.

EBITDA +6.0% YoY

Mexico’s EBITDA totaled 37.5 billion pesos in the quarter, up 6.0% year-on-year. The EBITDA margin stood at 41.5% of revenue, slightly higher than a year earlier.

Subscriber registration

In compliance with regulatory requirements, the first deadline for prepaid subscriber registration took effect on August 15th for lines ending with a 0 digit, and subsequent deadlines every two weeks for lines ending in the following digits. The registration process is expected to be completed on December 31st. Lines that do not complete the process are suspended and may be reactivated once the required information has been provided.

743k postpaid net adds

We added 743 thousand postpaid subscribers in the third quarter and disconnected 190 thousand prepaid subscribers, ending September with 92.8 million wireless subscribers, 4.0% more than a year earlier. In the fixed-line segment we connected 94 thousand new broadband accesses, but continued to lose fixed-voice lines and PayTV accesses. Our fixed-line base totaled 21.7 million RGUs at the end of the period.

Mobile service revenue +7.1% YoY

Revenue for the quarter, 13.8 billion reais, was up 6.1% year-on-year, with service revenue up 5.3%. On the mobile platform service revenue increased 7.1% from a year earlier quarter, accelerating from 6.1% in the second quarter. The improvement was driven by the postpaid segment, whose revenue increased 8.5%, up from 7.1% in the prior quarter, reflecting the ongoing migration from prepaid to postpaid plans and strong demand for connectivity.

Fixed-line service revenue +2.8% YoY

Fixed-line service revenue rose 2.8% on the back of 7.4% PayTV revenue growth. We continued to actively pursue opportunities in the SME and enterprise segments by integrating and developing solutions tailored to their operational needs. This resulted in corporate networks revenue increasing 8.6% year-on-year.

EBITDA +6.6% YoY

Strict cost controls and ongoing productivity and efficiency initiatives enabled EBITDA to expand 6.6% to 6.2 billion reais. The EBITDA margin increased 20 basis points from a year earlier and stood at 44.7% of revenue.

348k postpaid net adds

We added 348 thousand postpaid subscribers and disconnected 2.8 million prepaid subscribers as part of a cleanup of the prepaid base. Our wireless base totaled 38.5 million subscribers at the end of September. On the fixed-line platform we added 67 thousand broadband accesses, not enough to offset the disconnections of landlines and PayTV units. As a result fixed-line RGUs declined by 23 thousand to 9.7 million at the end of September.

Mobile service revenue +12.8% YoY

Third quarter revenue totaled 4.4 trillion Colombian pesos, 7.4% more than a year earlier, driven by 9.2% service revenue growth, up from 7.5% in the previous quarter. On the mobile platform service revenue growth accelerated to 12.8% from 10.5% in the prior quarter. This acceleration was observed across both prepaid and postpaid services and reflects strong demand for connectivity as well as for the superior quality of Claro’s 5G network. This has become a key differentiator in attracting subscribers, as evidenced by the company’s positive mobile number-portability results.

Fixed-line service revenue +3.5% YoY

On the fixed-line platform service revenue increased 3.5%, improving from 3.0% in the preceding quarter. Broadband revenue growth remained broadly stable at 3.9%, while corporate networks revenue accelerated to a 15.4% year-on-year increase.

EBITDA +12.4% YoY

EBITDA of 1.9 trillion Colombian pesos was up 12.4% from the year-earlier quarter. The EBITDA margin stood at 42.9% of revenue, 1.9 percentage points higher than in the same quarter of the prior year.

229k postpaid net adds

We added 255 thousand wireless subscribers, including 229 thousand postpaid customers, to end September with 13.6 million wireless subscribers, 3.6% more than a year-earlier quarter. On the fixed-line platform we connected 28 thousand new broadband accesses and four thousand PayTV units, while disconnecting 42 thousand landlines. We finished the quarter with 2.1 million fixed-line RGUs, 6.3% more than a year before.

Service revenue +5.4% YoY

Revenue of 1.8 billion soles in the third quarter was up 5.2% year-on-year. Service revenue increased 5.4%, with mobile service revenue growth accelerating to 4.3% from 3.4% in the prior quarter and fixed-line service revenue rising 9.0%.

Postpaid revenue +7.5% YoY

On the mobile platform we continued to benefit from strong demand for connectivity and the ongoing migration from prepaid to postpaid plans. As a result, postpaid revenue growth accelerated to 7.5% from 6.5% in the prior quarter, while prepaid revenue declined.

Broadband revenue +9.7% YoY

On the fixed-line platform it is worth noting that Claro delivered a special project in the second quarter, with most of the associated revenue recognized in that period and the remainder in the current quarter. This drove a 20.5% increase in corporate networks revenue, making it the main contributor to fixed-line service revenue growth. Broadband revenue, meanwhile, increased 9.7% in the third quarter, up from 8.0% in the previous quarter.

EBITDA +4.4% YoY

EBITDA totaled 730 million soles in the quarter, 4.4% more than a year earlier, resulting in an EBITDA margin of 39.8% of revenue. The margin was slightly lower than in the third quarter of 2025, reflecting an extraordinary revenue booked in the same quarter of 2025; in abscence of which EBITDA would have increased 6.1% and the margin would have been higher than last year’s.

151k wireless net adds

Altogether the Southern Cone block added 151 thousand wireless, mostly postpaid subscribers, in the quarter, reaching 8.8 million wireless subscribers at the end of September. In the fixed-line segment we disconnected 27 thousand RGUs, bringing the base to 3.1 million.

Mobile service revenue +13.5% YoY

Revenue for the block was up 9.7% year-on-year to 369 billion Chilean pesos, with service revenue increasing 5.5%, in line with the pace observed in the prior quarter. Mobile service revenue growth remained strong at 13.5%, while fixed-line service revenue declined 1.1% from a year-earlier quarter. Although broadband and corporate networks revenue expanded 2.2% and 2.7%, respectively, it was not enough to offset the decline in PayTV and fixed-voice revenue.

EBITDA excluding one-offs +11.6% YoY

EBITDA reached 88.8 billion Chilean pesos, down 3.0% from a year-earlier quarter. The EBITDA margin stood at 24.1% of revenue. EBITDA figures in both the current and year-earlier quarters were affected by certain extraordinary items excluding which EBITDA would have increased 11.6% year-on-year.

APPENDIX

GLOSSARY

Appendix

The following table reconciles net cash flows provided by operating activities (an IFRS measure) to free cash flow (a non-IFRS measure). Our management defines free cash flow as funds from operations less capital expenditures. Funds from operations are calculated by subtracting payments of lease liabilities and net interest paid, and adding employee benefits, investing activities and others to net cash flows from operating activities.

    Millions of Mexican pesos
      Jan-Sep 26 Jan-Sep 25
Net cash flows from operating activities (IFRS measure) 204,793 186,665
    (-) Payments of lease liabilities -39,639 -38,710
    (-) Net interest paid -26,145 -27,488
    (+) Employee benefits 13,013 10,025

(+) Investing activities

(Derivative instruments, other investments) and other

-1,147 7,370
    Funds from Operations 150,875 137,862
    (-) Capital Expenditures -75,915 -84,870
    Free Cash Flow (non-IFRS measure) 74,960 52,992

Free cash flow is presented as a supplemental non-IFRS measure because management believes that it provides additional perspective and useful insight into the Company’s ability to generate cash after excluding the adjusted items, including necessary capital expenditures. This non-IFRS measure should not be considered superior to, a substitute for or an alternative to, and should be considered in conjunction with the IFRS measure presented herein.
