Chilwa Minerals’ Managing Director, Cadell Buss, commented:
“Maxim taking up additional ADSs at the IPO price is a clear vote of confidence from our underwriter, two weeks into life as a Nasdaq-listed company. It brings more US capital into Chilwa at a price equivalent to around A$0.80 per share and broadens our US shareholder base at the same time.
“These funds add to our capacity to advance all three of our potential revenue streams – heavy mineral sands, ionic clay rare earths and the Nakombe niobium discovery with its gallium, tantalum and rare earth credits. With a strong pipeline of exploration results ahead and our US Government funding application in hand, we look forward to delivering news flow to both our ASX and Nasdaq investors.”
