| Accounting Standards Update and Change in Accounting Principle | 6.In November 2024, the Financial Accounting Standards Board (the “FASB”) issued ASU 2025-03, “Income Statement – Reporting Comprehensive Income – Expense Disaggregation Disclosures (Subtopic 220-40): Disaggregation of Income Statement Expenses” to enhance disclosure of specified categories of expenses (purchases of inventory, employee compensation, depreciation, and intangible asset amortization) included in certain expense captions presented on the face of the income statement. ASU 2025-03 is effective for annual periods beginning after December 15, 2026, and for interim periods within fiscal years beginning after December 15, 2027, with early adoption permitted on a prospective basis for financial statements issued for reporting periods after the forementioned effective date. The Company is currently evaluating the potential effect that the updated standard will have on the financial statements and related disclosures.
