| GOING CONCERN | 19. GOING CONCERN
The Trust has incurred net losses in two of the last five fiscal years and continues to be subject to economic uncertainty, including inflationary and tariff-related pressures. These conditions were considered by management in evaluating the Trust’s ability to meet its obligations as they become due within one year after the date these financial statements are issued.
Management has evaluated its plans to address the Trust’s liquidity requirements, including continued cash flows from hotel operations and management fees, cost-reduction measures, available borrowing capacity under existing credit facilities, and the ability to obtain liquidity from its hotel assets through refinancing or disposition, if necessary.
Based on management’s evaluation of the Trust’s expected cash flows, existing liquidity and obligations due during the assessment period, management concluded that the conditions and events, considered in the aggregate, do not raise substantial doubt about the Trust’s ability to continue as a going concern.
