Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

On September 8, 2026, Alexi Zawadzki notified the board of directors of Lithium Americas Corp. (the “Company”) of his intention to retire from his position as the Company’s Vice President, Corporate Development, effective as of September 11, 2026 (the “Retirement Date”). Mr. Zawadzki’s retirement is not the result of any disagreement with the Company on any matter relating to the Company’s operations, policies, or practices.
