Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

On August 21, 2026, Harry Brandler resigned from the Board of Directors of Green Brick Partners, Inc. (the “Company”), effective immediately. Mr. Brandler resigned to focus on recent business ventures and non-profit activities, and not because of any disagreement with the Company on any matter relating to the Company’s operations, policies or practices.
