Accounts payable and accrued expenses consisted of the following:

Additionally, as of June 30, 2026 and December 31, 2025, there was accrued compensation of $1,414,037 and $1,397,357, respectively, which includes accrued salaries and health benefits to executives since inception and accrued board fees. Since inception, executive salaries have been paid in cash when the Company’s cash flow has permitted such payment and unpaid salaries related to 2022 and 2023 remain unpaid.
