Note 5 - 401(k) Savings Plan

In 2022, Genprex established a defined contribution savings plan under Section 401(k) of the Internal Revenue Code (“401(k) Plan”) and established an employer matching program for participants in the 401(k) Plan. The 401(k) Plan covers all employees who meet defined minimum age and service requirements, and allows participants to defer a portion of their annual compensation on a pre-tax basis. The Company incurred $41,469 and $68,579 of expense for matching contributions to the 401(k) Plan during the three and six months ended  June 30, 2026, respectively. The Company incurred $28,020 and $53,332 of expense for matching contributions to the 401(k) Plan during the  three and six months ended June 30, 2025, respectively.
