USD Coin (“USDC”) is a U.S. dollar–denominated payment stablecoin issued by Circle Internet Group, Inc., which the Company uses to settle certain digital asset transactions, including purchases of HYPE, contracts under its OTC options strategy, and fees received under its temporary HAUS agreements. USDC is accounted for as a financial instrument that can be redeemed one USDC for one U.S. dollar on demand from the issuer and is not within the scope of ASC 350-60.
