Accounting Standards Update and Change in Accounting Principle [Abstract]
Recently Issued or Adopted Accounting Pronouncements Recently Issued or Adopted Accounting Pronouncements.   In November 2024, the FASB issued "Income Statement - Reporting Comprehensive Income - Expense Disaggregation Disclosure (Subtopic 220-40): Disaggregation of Income Statement Expenses", which requires the disaggregation of certain expenses in the notes to the financial statements, to provide enhanced transparency into the expense captions presented on the face of the income statement. The new standard is effective for us for annual reporting periods beginning after December 15, 2026 and interim periods within fiscal years beginning after December 15, 2027. Early adoption is permitted and the new standard may be applied either prospectively or retrospectively. We are currently evaluating the impact of this standard on our consolidated financial statements.
In September 2025, the FASB issued "Intangibles - Goodwill and Other - Internal-Use Software (Subtopic 350-40): Targeted Improvements to the Accounting for Internal-Use Software", which modernizes the accounting for internal-use software under Accounting Standards Codification (ASC) 350-40 by aligning it with current development practices, especially agile and iterative methods. It clarifies when to begin capitalizing costs, improves operability across different
development approaches, and enhances disclosure requirements. The new standard is effective for us for interim and annual periods beginning after December 15, 2027, with early adoption permitted. We are currently evaluating the impact of this standard on our consolidated financial statements.
