Introductory Note

On September 22, 2022, the Grand Court of the Cayman Islands (the “Court”) issued an order appointing Margot MacInnis and John Royle of Grant Thornton Specialist Services (Cayman) Limited, and Chow Tsz Nga Georgia of Grant Thornton Recovery & Reorganisation Limited, as joint provisional liquidators (the “JPLs”) of Global Cord Blood Corporation (the “Company”) pursuant to Section 104(2) of the Companies Act (as amended) of the Cayman Islands.

Third Fee Report

On August 6, 2026, the JPLs issued their third fee report relating to fees and disbursements during the period October 1, 2024 to September 30, 2025. Attached to this report as Exhibit 99.1 is a letter dated August 6, 2026 to purported shareholders providing notice of the fee report, the JPLs’ intent to provide a copy to any shareholder who is able to evidence their holding, and the JPLs’ intention to obtain Court sanction of the fees described therein.
