8. DERIVATIVE LIABILITIES

During the year ended December 31, 2024, the Company issued certain share purchase warrants that can be exercised in USD or CAD. The warrants were classified as derivative liabilities, carried at fair value and revalued at each reporting date.

During the six months ended June 30, 2026, 2,380,952 warrants were exercised resulting in a decrease of $309 to the derivative liability.

On March 31, 2026, the Company modified the exercise price of the warrants such that they are only exercisable in USD, the functional currency of the Company. As such, the warrants no longer meet the definition of a derivative liability, and the fair value of the warrants of $5,932 on March 31, 2026 was reclassified to equity.
