| SEGMENT INFORMATION | SEGMENT INFORMATION The Company’s business includes the design, development, manufacturing, sales and leasing of battery components and systems primarily for electric commercial vehicles and energy storage systems. Revenue, classified by major geographic region in which the customers are located, is disclosed in Note 12. The Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”), as the chief operating decision maker (“CODM”), organizes the Company as a single operating and reportable segment. The CODM uses operating income to allocate operating and capital resources and assesses performance by comparing actual operating income results to historical results and previously forecasted financial information. The measure of operating income is reported on the consolidated statements of operations as operating income. The segment assets are reported on the consolidated balance sheets as total assets.
