The Company operates and manages its business as one reporting and one operating segment, which is the business of designing and developing ecDTx, for which no revenue has been recorded. | Recent Accounting Pronouncements Not Yet Adopted | Recent Accounting Pronouncements Not Yet Adopted In November 2024, the FASB issued ASU No. 2024-03, Income Statement—Reporting Comprehensive Income—Expense Disaggregation Disclosures (Subtopic 220-40): Disaggregation of Income Statement Expenses. The new guidance requires more detailed information about specified types of expenses (including purchases of inventory, employee compensation, depreciation, amortization, and depletion) in commonly presented expense captions on the face of the statement of operations on an annual and interim basis. This guidance is effective for the Company for annual periods beginning after December 15, 2026, and interim periods beginning after December 15, 2027. The new standard permits early adoption and can be applied prospectively or retrospectively. The Company is evaluating the effect that this guidance will have on its financial statements and related disclosures. |
