| Segment Reporting | Note 15—Segment Reporting The Company operates its business through one reportable and operating segment that focuses on realizing value for shareholders primarily by generating cash flows through active asset management and sales of its existing loans, operating properties and land and development properties. The Company’s chief executive officer is the chief operating decision maker (“CODM”) and uses net income (loss), as reported on the Company’s consolidated statements of operations, to measure segment operating performance and allocate resources. All of the Company’s expenses are included in segment operating performance and are reviewed regularly. The measure of segment assets is reported on the Company’s consolidated balance sheets as total assets. |
