The increase in the goodwill balance of approximately $5.1 million at the Software Solutions business during the fiscal year ended September 30, 2025, was due to the Auction Software acquisition; see Note 3 - Acquisitions for further information. Our RSCG reportable segment does not maintain a goodwill balance as of June 30, 2026.

Goodwill is tested for impairment at the beginning of the fourth quarter and during interim periods whenever events or circumstances indicate that the carrying value may not be recoverable. The Company did not identify any indicators of impairment that required an interim goodwill impairment test during the three and nine months ended June 30, 2026.
