On August 6, 2026, the board of directors and management of Greenland Energy Company, a Texas corporation (the “Company”) issued a press release containing a letter to the Company’s shareholders updating them on the Company’s current progress with the Greenlandic authorities and regulators for necessary approvals and permitting to drill in the Jameson Land Basin and the preparations being taken by the Company to commence drilling once approvals are received. This press release is included as Exhibit 99.1 hereto.
