| Summary of Significant Accounting Policies | 2. Summary of Significant Accounting Policies The Company’s significant accounting policies are disclosed in the audited financial statements in its 2025 Annual Report. Recently Issued Accounting Standards Accounting standards not listed below were assessed and determined not to be applicable or are expected to have minimal impact on the Company’s unaudited condensed consolidated financial statements. In November 2024, the FASB issued ASU No. 2024-03, Comprehensive Income - Expense Disaggregation Disclosures, which will improve the disclosures about a public business entity's expenses and address requests from investors for more detailed information about the types of expenses in commonly presented expense captions such as cost of sales, selling, general and administrative, and research and development. The amendments are effective for fiscal years beginning after December 15, 2026. Early adoption is permitted for annual financial statements that have not yet been issued or made available. The amendments should be applied on either (1) prospectively to financial statements issued for reporting periods after the effective date or (2) retrospectively to any or all prior periods presented in the financial statements. The Company is currently evaluating the provisions of the amendments and the effect on its future consolidated financial statements. In September 2025, the FASB issued ASU 2025-06, Intangibles - Goodwill and Other - Internal-Use Software (Subtopic 350-40): Targeted Improvements to the Accounting for Internal-Use Software, which clarifies and modernizes the accounting for costs related to internal-use software. The amendments remove all references to project stages and clarify the threshold entities apply to begin capitalizing costs. The amendments are effective for fiscal years beginning after December 15, 2027 and interim reporting periods within those annual reporting periods, with early adoption permitted. The Company is currently evaluating the provisions of the amendments and the effect on its future consolidated financial statements. In December 2025, the FASB issued ASU 2025-11, Interim Reporting (Topic 270): Narrow Scope Improvements, which clarifies required interim disclosures under Topic 270 by providing a comprehensive list of required interim disclosures, and clarifies the applicability of Topic 270. This update is effective for annual reporting periods beginning after December 15, 2027, and interim reporting periods within annual reporting periods beginning after December 15, 2028, with early adoption permitted. ASU 2025-11 may be adopted on a prospective or retrospective basis. The Company is currently evaluating the impact of this guidance on its future consolidated financial statements. |
