| New Financial Accounting Pronouncements | Note 2. New Financial Accounting Pronouncements In November 2024, the FASB issued ASU 2024-03, Income Statement—Reporting Comprehensive Income—Expense Disaggregation Disclosures (Subtopic 220-40): Disaggregation of Income Statement Expenses, which is intended to provide more detailed and disaggregated information about significant expense categories, such as purchases of inventory, employee compensation, depreciation and amortization and selling expenses. This standard, including related updates, is effective for fiscal years beginning after December 15, 2026, and interim periods within fiscal years beginning after December 15, 2027. Early adoption is permitted, and the amendments may be applied either prospectively or retrospectively. We are currently assessing the impact ASU 2024-03 will have on our consolidated financial statements, including our footnote disclosures.
