| Income Taxes | Income Taxes The effective tax rate was 20.0% and 22.1% for the six months ended June 30, 2026 and 2025, respectively. The Company calculated the provision for income taxes by applying the estimated annual effective tax rate to year-to-date pre-tax income, and adjusting for discrete items that occurred during the period. The decrease in the effective tax rate was caused primarily by the Company’s continued investments in tax credits.
