| Basis of Presentation | Basis of Presentation The condensed consolidated financial statements and the related disclosures are unaudited and have been prepared in accordance with accounting principles generally accepted in the U.S. Additionally, certain information and footnote disclosures normally included in the Company’s annual financial statements have been condensed or omitted. Accordingly, these interim condensed consolidated financial statements should be read in conjunction with the consolidated financial statements and notes thereto contained in the Company’s Annual Report on Form 10-K for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2025, which was filed with the SEC on March 30, 2026. In the opinion of management, the unaudited interim condensed consolidated financial statements reflect all normal recurring adjustments considered necessary for a fair presentation of the Company’s financial position and the results of its operations for the interim periods presented. The results of operations for the three and six months ended June 30, 2026 and 2025 are not necessarily indicative of the results that may be expected for the full year or any other subsequent interim period. The condensed consolidated financial statements include the financial statements of the Company and its wholly owned subsidiaries, Cyclerion Securities Corporation, Cyclerion Australia Pty Ltd., Cariboos Merger Sub Corp. and Cariboos Merger Sub II, LLC. All significant intercompany accounts and transactions have been eliminated in the preparation of the accompanying condensed consolidated financial statements. |
| New Accounting Pronouncements | New Accounting Pronouncements From time to time, new accounting pronouncements are issued by the Financial Accounting Standards Board (“FASB”) or other standard setting bodies that are adopted by the Company as of the specified effective date. Except as discussed elsewhere in the notes to the interim condensed consolidated financial statements, the Company did not adopt any new accounting pronouncements during the six months ended June 30, 2026 that had a material effect on its condensed consolidated financial statements. No other accounting standards known by the Company to be applicable to it that have been issued by the FASB or other standard-setting bodies and that do not require adoption until a future date are expected to have a material impact on the Company’s condensed consolidated financial statements upon adoption. |
