| Income Taxes | Income Taxes The applicable income tax expense was $235 million and $180 million for the three months ended June 30, 2026 and 2025, respectively, and $277 million and $319 million for the six months ended June 30, 2026 and 2025, respectively. The effective tax rates for the three months ended June 30, 2026 and 2025 were 22.7% and 22.2%, respectively, and 22.3% and 21.8% for the six months ended June 30, 2026 and 2025, respectively.
