| SPECIAL CHARGES, NET | SPECIAL CHARGES, NET Special charges, net, for the three and six months ended June 27, 2026 and June 28, 2025 are described in more detail below:
HVAC — Charges for the three and six months ended June 27, 2026 and six months ended June 28, 2025 related primarily to recording, and subsequent adjustments of, severance costs associated with restructuring actions at one of the segment’s cooling businesses. Detection and Measurement — Charges for the three and six months ended June 27, 2026 related primarily to severance costs and asset impairment charges associated with restructuring actions at the segment's location and inspection and rehabilitation businesses and charges for the six months ended June 28, 2025 related primarily to severance costs associated with restructuring actions at the segment's inspection and rehabilitation business. Corporate — Charges for the six months ended June 28, 2025 related primarily to severance costs associated with a restructuring action. No significant future charges are expected to be incurred under actions approved as of June 27, 2026.
