| EMPLOYEE BENEFIT PLANS | EMPLOYEE BENEFIT PLANS Eligible U.S. employees are able to participate in the Cboe Global Markets SMART Plan (“SMART Plan”). The SMART Plan is a defined contribution plan, which is qualified under Internal Revenue Code Section 401(k). In addition, eligible employees may participate in the Supplemental Executive Retirement Plan and the Deferred Compensation Plan, which are defined contribution plans that are non-qualified under the Internal Revenue Code. Directors may contribute a percentage of their cash and equity compensation to cash and equity deferred compensation plans that are maintained by the Company and defer income taxes thereon. The non-qualified plans' assets, held in a trust, are subject to the claims of general creditors of the Company and totaled $40.0 million and $35.8 million at June 30, 2026, and December 31, 2025, respectively. Although the value of the plans is recorded in financial investments, there is an equal and offsetting liability in other non-current liabilities on the condensed consolidated balance sheets, respectively. The investment results of the non-qualified plans have no impact on net income as the investment results are recorded in equal amounts to both compensation and benefits expense and other income, net in the condensed consolidated statements of income. The Company matches a portion of employee contributions made to the SMART Plan and Supplemental Executive Retirement Plan. The Company contributed $4.7 million and $4.7 million to the defined contribution plans for the three months ended June 30, 2026 and 2025, respectively, and $10.8 million and $8.5 million for the six months ended June 30, 2026 and 2025, respectively. Eligible employees outside of the U.S., which include, but are not limited to, employees of Cboe Europe, Cboe NL, Cboe Clear Europe, BIDS, Cboe Asia Pacific, and Cboe Canada, are eligible to participate in various employee-selected stakeholder contribution plans or plans covered by local jurisdictions or by applicable laws. The Company’s contribution to these plans amounted to $1.1 million and $1.1 million for the three months ended June 30, 2026 and 2025, respectively, and $2.8 million and $2.9 million for the six months ended June 30, 2026 and 2025, respectively. This expense is included in compensation and benefits in the condensed consolidated statements of income.
