(12) Cash Dividends

The Company paid cash dividends for the quarter indicated as follows (in thousands, except per share data):

On July 15, 2026, the Board announced the declaration of a cash dividend on the shares of the Company’s common stock of $0.225 per share for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. The dividend is payable on August 12, 2026 to stockholders of record as of July 29, 2026. The Company pays dividends (i) out of surplus or (ii) if there is no surplus, out of the net profits for the fiscal year in which the dividend is declared and/or the preceding fiscal year, as provided under Delaware law.

The Board also declared a cash dividend of $137,500 on the shares of Series A Preferred Stock of Antero Midstream that is payable on August 14, 2026 in accordance with the terms of the Series A Preferred Stock, which are discussed in Note 13—Equity and Net Income Per Common Share. As of June 30, 2026, there were dividends in the amount of $68,750 accumulated in arrears on the Company’s Series A Preferred Stock.
