| Basis of Presentation | Note 1 — Basis of Presentation The accompanying unaudited, condensed consolidated financial statements have been prepared pursuant to rules and regulations of the Securities and Exchange Commission and, therefore, do not include all information and footnote disclosures normally included in audited financial statements. However, in the opinion of management, all adjustments (which include only normal adjustments) necessary to present fairly the results of operations, financial position, and cash flows have been made. These statements should be read in conjunction with the financial statements included in Abbott’s Annual Report on Form 10-K for the year ended December 31, 2025. The condensed consolidated financial statements include the accounts of the parent company, subsidiaries, and any variable interest entities for which Abbott is the primary beneficiary, after elimination of intercompany transactions.
