| Income Taxes | Income Taxes In the second quarter of 2026, changes in state tax laws and other state tax matters resulted in a $27 million reduction of our deferred tax expense. In the second quarter of 2025, the state of Kansas enacted corporate income tax legislation that resulted in a $115 million reduction of our deferred tax expense.
