| Auditor Opinion [Text Block] | Opinion on the Financial Statements We have audited the accompanying consolidated balance sheets of VCI Global Limited and its subsidiaries (collectively the “Company”) as of December 31, 2024, and the related consolidated statements of profit or loss and other comprehensive income/(loss), changes in equity and cash flows in each of the years in the two-year period ended December 31, 2024, and the related notes (collectively referred to as the “financial statements”), before the effects of the adjustments to retrospectively reflect the effects of change in presentation currency described in Note 2. In our opinion, the financial statements, before the effects of the adjustments to retrospectively reflect the effects of change in presentation currency described in Note 2, present fairly, in all material respects, the financial position of the Company as of December 31, 2024, and the results of its operations and its cash flows in each of the years in the two-year period ended December 31, 2024, in conformity with International Financial Reporting Standards as issued by the International Accounting Standards Board (the 2024 financial statements before the effects of the adjustments discussed in Note 2 are not presented herein). |
