Management Commentary
Ted Goldthorpe, President and Chief Executive Officer of ACIF and Head of the BC Partners Credit Platform, stated, “We appreciate the shareholders who have already submitted their votes and encourage all remaining shareholders to vote FOR the proposal.
The votes received to date reinforce our belief in the strategic and financial benefits of the transaction. We believe the combined company will benefit from greater scale and improved access to capital, positioning it well to generate long-term value for shareholders.
As a reminder, if ACIF shareholders approve the Merger Proposal, the Fund intends to conduct a one-time discretionary repurchase offer for up to 15% of ACIF’s outstanding shares immediately prior to the closing of the merger.”
As it relates to the distribution declaration, Goldthorpe added, “We are pleased to once again provide ACIF shareholders with a special distribution.
