| Basis of Accounting | Basis of Accounting The accompanying financial statements of the Plan are prepared under the accrual basis of accounting in accordance with accounting principles generally accepted in the United States of America (U.S. GAAP).

| Use of Estimates | Use of Estimates The preparation of financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP requires management to make estimates and assumptions that affect the amounts reported in the financial statements and accompanying notes and supplemental schedule. Actual results could differ from these estimates.

| Investment Valuation/Income Recognition | Investment Valuation The Plan's investments are stated at fair value. Fair value is defined as the price that would be received to sell an asset or paid to transfer a liability in an orderly transaction between market participants as of the measurement date. See Note 3 for further details. Income Recognition Net realized and unrealized appreciation in the fair value of investments represents the change in the difference between the aggregate fair value and the cost of the Plan's investments, including investments bought, sold and held during the year. Dividends are recorded on the ex-dividend date.
