| RISKS AND UNCERTAINTIES | RISKS AND UNCERTAINTIES The Plan invests in various investment securities that are exposed to various risks such as interest rate, market and credit risks. Market values of investments may decline for a number of reasons, including changes in prevailing market and interest rates, increases in defaults and credit rating downgrades. Due to the level of risk associated with certain investment securities, it is at least reasonably possible that changes in values of investment securities will occur in the near term and that some changes could materially affect participant account balances and the amounts reported in the statement of net assets available for benefits.
