| Segment Reporting [Abstract] | |
| Segment Reporting | Segment Reporting The Company has one operating and reportable segment consisting of investments in real estate. The management committee of Fundrise Advisors, LLC, our Manager, acts as the Company’s Chief Operating Decision Maker (“CODM”), assessing performance and making decisions about resource allocation. The CODM determined that the Company operates a single operating and reportable segment based on the fact that the CODM monitors the operating results of the Company as a whole and that the Company’s long-term strategic asset allocation is pre-determined in accordance with the terms of its offering circular, based on a defined investment strategy. The CODM assesses segment performance using net income (loss), which is reported in the Company’s Statements of Operations. The financial information, including information about the Company’s significant revenues and expenses, that is provided to and reviewed by the CODM is consistent with that presented within the Company’s financial statements. Total expenses and total other expenses, as disclosed in the financial statements once the Company is operational, represent the CODM’s measure of significant expenses. The CODM uses this financial information to evaluate the Company’s overall performance and investment returns, supporting decisions on acquisitions, dispositions, and distributions. The measure of segment assets is reported in the Company’s Balance Sheet. No single investment accounts for more than 10% of the Company’s total revenue. All of the Company’s real estate investments are located within the United States and all revenues are derived from U.S.-based operations.
