| Segment Reporting [Abstract] | |
| Segment Reporting | 12. SEGMENT REPORTING The Company has one reportable and one operating segment and manages its business activities primarily in the United States on a consolidated basis. The Company’s singular focus is on the development of its mutCALR portfolio to address the full mutCALR myeloproliferative neoplasm disease spectrum. All of the Company’s tangible assets are held in the United States. The chief operating decision maker (the “CODM”) is its chief executive officer, or in the absence of a chief executive officer, its chief operating officer. The CODM assesses performance for the Company and decides how to allocate resources based on net loss as reported on the consolidated statements of operations. The annual budgeting process is the primary mechanism used to make these decisions. The financial information also helps in making performance assessments using budgeted versus actual results. The measure of segment assets is reported on the balance sheet as total consolidated assets. |
