| Recent Accounting Pronouncements | (2) Recent Accounting Pronouncements In November 2024, the Financial Accounting Standards Board issued Accounting Standards Update ("ASU") 2024-03, Income Statement – Reporting Comprehensive Income (Subtopic 220-40): Disaggregation of Income Statement Expenses. This ASU primarily provides enhanced disclosures about the components of expenses within the income statement including purchases of inventory, employee compensation, depreciation, and intangible asset amortization. The amendments in this update are effective for fiscal years beginning after December 15, 2026, and interim periods within fiscal years beginning after December 15, 2027, and may be applied either prospectively or retrospectively for all periods presented. We are currently assessing the impact of this new standard on our disclosures and expect to provide additional detail and disclosures under this new guidance. |
