Background and Nature of Operations	Background and Nature of Operations Nature of Operations Everus Construction Group, Inc. (the “Company” or “Everus”) is a leading construction solutions provider headquartered in Bismarck, North Dakota, offering specialty contracting services to a diverse set of end markets, which are provided to commercial, industrial, institutional, renewables, service, transportation, utility and other customers. The Company’s common stock is listed under the ticker symbol “ECG” on the New York Stock Exchange, and it operates throughout most of the United States through two reportable, operating segments: Electrical & Mechanical (“E&M”): Contracting services including construction and maintenance of electrical and communication wiring and infrastructure, fire suppression systems, renewables infrastructure and mechanical piping and services to customers in both the public and private sectors. Transmission & Distribution (“T&D”): Contracting services including construction and maintenance of overhead and underground electrical, gas, communication infrastructure and transportation-related lighting, as well as the manufacture and distribution of overhead and underground transmission line construction equipment and tools.
