| Commercial Real Estate Loan Investments | 3. Commercial Real Estate Loan Investments The table below summarizes the Company’s commercial real estate loan investments as of December 31, 2025 and 2024 ($ in thousands):
(1) Loan amount consists of outstanding principal balance plus unfunded loan commitments. (2) Represents weighted average interest rate of the most recent interest period in effect for each loan as of period end. As of December 31, 2025, loans earn interest at the one-month term (“SOFR”) plus a spread and are subject to a weighted average rate floor of 7.22%. Payment terms for all loans are interest only with principal due at maturity. (3) Maximum maturity assumes all extension options are exercised by the borrower; however, loans may be repaid prior to such date. Extension options are subject to certain conditions as defined in the respective loan agreement. (4) Mezzanine loan is subordinate to a senior loan held by the Company.
