Tema ETFs LLC (the “Adviser”) has contractually agreed to waive its fees and reimburse expenses to the extent necessary to keep total annual operating expenses of the Fund including acquired fund fees and expenses for money market funds (excluding acquired fund fees and expenses of investment companies other than money market funds, amounts payable pursuant to any plan adopted in accordance with Rule 12b-1, interest expense, taxes, brokerage commissions, other expenditures which are capitalized in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, and extraordinary expenses) from exceeding 0.75% of the average daily net assets of the Fund until at least June 28, 2027, unless earlier terminated by the Board of Trustees (the “Board”) of Tema ETF Trust (the “Trust”) for any reason at any time or until the Fund is liquidated. The Adviser may not terminate the fee waiver during the contractual period. Each waiver/expense payment by the Adviser is subject to recoupment by the Adviser from the Fund in the three years following the date the particular waiver/expense payment occurred, but only if such recoupment can be achieved without exceeding the annual expense limitation in effect at the time of the waiver/expense payment and any expense limitation in effect at the time of the recoupment.

Portfolio Turnover [Heading] Portfolio Turnover
Portfolio Turnover [Text Block]

The Fund pays transaction costs, such as commissions, when it purchases and sells securities (or “turns over” its portfolio). A higher portfolio turnover rate may result in higher transaction costs and higher taxes when shares are held in a taxable account. These costs, which are not reflected in Annual Fund Operating Expenses table or in the Example above, may affect the Fund’s performance. Because the Fund is newly organized, there is no portfolio turnover to report.
