| Nature of operations | 1) Nature of operations Trilogy Metals Inc. (“Trilogy” or the “Company”) was incorporated in British Columbia, Canada under the Business Corporations Act (British Columbia) on April 27, 2011. The Company is engaged in the exploration and development of mineral properties, through its equity investee Ambler Metals LLC (see note 3), with a focus on the Upper Kobuk Mineral Projects (“UKMP”), including the Arctic and Bornite Projects located in Northwest Alaska in the United States of America (“US”). The Company also conducts early-stage exploration through a wholly owned subsidiary, 995 Exploration Inc. |
