Segment Information | 11. Segment Information The Company is a late clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on developing novel peptide-based therapeutics for liver and cardiometabolic diseases. The Company’s lead program is pemvidutide, a GLP-1/glucagon dual receptor agonist for the treatment of MASH, AUD, ALD and obesity. To date, the Company has not generated any revenue from the sale of any products. The chief operating decision maker assesses the performance of the Company and decides how to allocate resources based solely on net (loss) income, which is also reported on the consolidated statements of operations and consolidated loss as net (loss) income. The measure of segment assets is reported on the consolidated balance sheet as total assets. |
