Recent Accounting Pronouncements | Recent Accounting Pronouncements From time to time, new accounting pronouncements are issued by the Financial Accounting Standards Board ("FASB"), which the Company adopts as of the specified effective date. Unless otherwise discussed, management believes that the impact of recently issued standards, which are not yet effective, will not have a material impact on the Company's consolidated financial statements upon adoption. Accounting Standards Issued But Not Yet Adopted Income Taxes (Topic 740). In December 2023, FASB issued ASU 2023-09, which improves income tax disclosures. This update is effective for fiscal years beginning after December 15, 2024. Early adoption is permitted. This update should be applied prospectively but retrospective application is permitted. The Company is currently evaluating the impact of this standard on its consolidated financial statements. Disaggregation of Income Statement Expenses (Subtopic 220-40). In November 2024, FASB issued ASU 2024-03 to improve financial reporting by requiring entities to disclose additional information about specific expense categories in the notes to financial statements at interim and annual reporting periods. This update is effective for fiscal years beginning after December 15, 2026. Early adoption is permitted, and this update may be applied either prospectively or retrospectively. The Company is currently evaluating the impact of this standard on its consolidated financial statements.
