| Reportable Segments | Reportable segments The Company manages its operations through one operating and reportable segment, engaged in the manufacturing, marketing and sales of cereal products in North America. Our products include various brands of cereal which are marketed under the Kellogg’s, Kashi and Bear Naked trade names. Consistent with our operational structure, our Chief Operating Decision Maker (“CODM”) is our Chief Executive Officer, who makes resource allocation and business decisions on a consolidated basis. Our CODM uses consolidated single-segment net income, which is reported on the Unaudited Consolidated Statement of Income, to evaluate financial performance, allocate resources, set incentive compensation targets, as well as forecasting future period financial results. Significant segment expenses are consistent with those included within the Unaudited Consolidated Statement of Income. The measure of segment assets is reported on the Unaudited Consolidated Balance Sheet as total consolidated assets. Supplemental geographic information is provided below for net sales to external customers and long-lived assets:
