Basis of Presentation | Note 2 - Basis of Presentation The accompanying unaudited condensed consolidated financial statements have been prepared in accordance with accounting principles generally accepted in the United States of America (“GAAP”) for interim financial information and the instructions to Form 10-Q and Article 10 of Regulation S-X. Accordingly, our condensed consolidated financial statements do not include all the information and footnotes required by GAAP for complete financial statements. Normal and recurring adjustments considered necessary for a fair statement of the results for the interim periods have been included. Operating results for the nine months ended June 30, 2025 are not necessarily indicative of the results that may be expected for the year ending September 30, 2025. The accompanying condensed consolidated financial statements should be read in conjunction with the consolidated financial statements and notes thereto included in our 2024 Annual Report on Form 10-K. Certain prior period amounts have been reclassified to conform to the current period presentation. The unaudited condensed consolidated financial statements include the accounts of Universal Technical Institute, Inc. and our wholly-owned subsidiaries. All intercompany transactions and balances have been eliminated. The preparation of financial statements in conformity with GAAP requires us to make estimates and assumptions that affect the reported amounts of assets and liabilities, disclosure of contingent assets and liabilities at the date of the financial statements and the reported amounts of revenue and expenses during the reporting period. Actual results could differ from these estimates. There have been no material changes or developments in our significant accounting policies or evaluation of accounting estimates and underlying assumptions or methodologies from those disclosed in Note 2 of our 2024 Annual Report on Form 10-K.
