Income Tax Disclosure [Abstract]
Income Taxes Income Taxes
Numerous countries have agreed to a statement in support of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development ("OECD") model rules that propose a global minimum tax rate of 15%. Certain countries have enacted, or are in the process of enacting, legislation to address the global minimum tax. This legislation has not and is not expected to have a material impact on our Consolidated Financial Statements.

Income taxes are recorded in our quarterly financial statements based on our estimated annual effective income tax rate, subject to adjustments for discrete events, should they occur. The effective tax rates used in the calculation of income taxes were 23.2% and 16.0% for the three months ended June 30, 2025 and 2024, respectively. The increase in the effective tax rate for the three months ended June 30, 2025 compared to the three months ended June 30, 2024 was primarily due to a discrete item in the prior year, primarily pertaining to the release of a reserve for uncertain tax positions due to the statute of limitations expiring.
