Segment Reporting | Segment Reporting: The Company’s reportable segment is determined by the Chief Executive Officer, who is designated as the chief operating decision maker (“CODM”), based upon information provided about the Company’s products and services offered, primarily banking operations. Operations of the Company are solely within community banking industry and include traditional community banking services, including lending activities, acceptance of demand, savings and time deposits, business services, investment management, trust and third-party brokerage services. These products and services have similar distribution methods, types of customers and regulatory responsibilities. An operating segment is defined as a component of a business for which separate financial information is available that is evaluated regularly by the chief operating decision-maker in deciding how to allocate resources and evaluate performance. Consolidated net income of the company is the primary performance metric utilized by the CODM. The CODM uses revenue streams to evaluate product pricing and significant expenses to assess performance and evaluate return on assets. The CODM uses consolidated net income to benchmark the Company against its competitors. The benchmarking analysis coupled with monitoring of budget to actual results are used in assessment performance and in establishing compensation. The majority of the Company’s revenue is from the business of banking. While the Company has assigned certain management responsibilities by business lines, the Company’s CODM monitors and evaluates financial performance on a Company-wide basis. Accordingly, segment information is not presented in the Consolidated Financial Statements. Therefore, the Company has determined that its business is conducted in one reportable segment and represents the consolidated financial statements of the Company. |
