NEW ACCOUNTING STANDARDS | NEW ACCOUNTING STANDARDS ACCOUNTING STANDARDS RECENTLY ADOPTED None ACCOUNTING STANDARDS PENDING ADOPTION In December 2023, the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) issued ASU 2023-09, “Income Taxes – Improvements to Income Tax Disclosures,” which requires disclosure of specific categories and disaggregation of information in the rate reconciliation table and expands disclosures related to income taxes paid. The new standard is effective for fiscal years beginning after December 15, 2024 and is to be applied prospectively. We are assessing the effect of this ASU on our disclosures that will be included in our Form 10-K for the year ending December 31, 2025. In November 2024, the FASB issued ASU 2024-03, "Disaggregation of Income Statement Expenses," which requires disaggregated disclosure of prescribed expense categories within relevant income statement captions. The new standard is effective for fiscal years beginning after December 15, 2026 and is to be applied prospectively. We are assessing the effect of this ASU on our consolidated financial statements and related disclosures.
