Item 8.01. Other Events.

On July 8, 2025, Lake Shore Bancorp, Inc., a federal corporation and the holding company for Lake Shore Savings Bank, issued a press release announcing that the conversion of Lake Shore, MHC from mutual to stock form and the related stock offering by Lake Shore Bancorp, Inc., a Maryland corporation and the proposed successor holding company for Lake Shore Bank, is expected to close on July 18, 2025. For additional information, refer to the press release dated July 8, 2025, which is filed as Exhibit 99.1 hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
